Special Hands Outreach only provides Telehealth Services. However, in person sessions are considered on a case by case basis.

For other insurances I am an out-of-network provider and am not currently participating directly with other insurance companies. Many insurance plans offer partial benefits for out-of- network mental health services. I will provide you with a monthly statement to submit for reimbursement. Please note that that payment is due directly to me at the time of session.

At Special Hands Outreach, we are committed to providing consistent, high-quality care to all of our clients. In order to do so, we have the following No-Show Policy in place:

Definition of a No-Show

A "no-show" is defined as:

  • Failing to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice.
     
  • Canceling or rescheduling an appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
     

Policy Details

  • First No-Show: You will receive a reminder of this policy and an opportunity to reschedule.
     
  • Second No-Show: You may be subject to a no-show fee of $75, and future sessions may be placed on hold until payment is received.
     
  • Three or More No-Shows: You may be discharged from services or placed on a monthly appointment schedule at the clinician's discretion.
     

Cancellations

Appointments must be canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. If the appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours of notice, you will be charged the full session fee.

To avoid being charged a no-show fee, please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer that time to another client who may need care.


Late Cancellations:

  • You will be subject to a late cancellation fee of $75, and future maybe placed on hold until payment is received

Exceptions

We understand emergencies happen. Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Medical emergencies
     
  • Severe weather conditions
     
  • Other urgent, unavoidable circumstance

Initial Consultation- Free per 15 min

Individual Counseling- $130 per 45 min

Couples Counseling- $170 per 90 min

Family Counseling- $180 per 90 min

Career Counseling- $110 per 60 min

Life Coaching- $ 95 per 45 min

Additional Consultations vary depending on the purpose.


Fees for Attending School Meetings or Completing Observations are charges at an hourly rate.



I do not prescribe medication, however I do work with medical professionals to refer clients for evaluations and/or prescriptions.


The length of counseling depends on the type of concern you share as well as the intensity of your symptoms. Research has shown that therapy can be concluded after three sessions, or may take over a year. On average clients tend to begin to experience relief from their symptoms within the first eight sessions.

The important thing to remember is that your healing journey will take a long as it takes and you have to be patient with yourself. There is no fix it quick button. Time and patience is key.


After a 15-minute free consultation to ensure we are a good fit, we would schedule an intake session. Intake sessions are the first appointments where the therapist can get background information about you or your child. Intake sessions are typically scheduled for 60 - 90 minutes depending on if its individual or couples/family.
